Why do dogs tilt their head at you?

Some studies have shown that dogs tilt their head to reposition their ears so they can hear us even better. Softer souls will say it’s your dog telling you that they care and are paying attention to you. And, if you encourage the head tilt by responding with affection, your dog knows to keep doing it. Either way, it’s adorable and we’re all for it.
